Project features: Tailor-made thermal disposal design for waste activated carbon (primarily powdered carbon), solving industry-specific challenges. It is the first specialized equipment in China for the incineration disposal of activated carbon. The system equipment has the following features:
Adopting a two-stage series-connected rotary kiln incineration process, with the first stage mainly for drying and gasification supplemented by controlled oxygen combustion to provide the required temperature for drying and gasification. The second stage of the kiln is rich in oxygen combustion, operating under high-temperature melting conditions in the rear section of the kiln.
Extending the total residence time of waste in the furnace from the conventional 1-2 hours to 6 hours and regulating the operating temperature of the second stage kiln by adjusting the power of the burners at the head and tail of the kiln or waste liquid spray guns to ensure stable thermal decomposition rates meeting standards.
A rotary kiln residue crushing device is installed in the connection section between the two-stage kilns, enhancing the contact between the materials and the assisting combustion air in the second-stage kiln, improving the combustion rate.
